Who is the company and what is the context of the role?

We are currently partnering with a globally recognized international group to recruit their new Project Manager - Oracle FCCS to join their team based in London. This role sits at the crossroads of Finance and Technology and will play a key part in supporting, enhancing, and driving the evolution of the Group's Oracle FCCS platform. You will be responsible for leading FCCS transformation initiatives, coordinating multiple stakeholders across Finance and IT and ensuring the solution continues to meet the organizations strategic and operational requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EPM Project Manager looking to work within a complex, international environment and influence the future of the Group Finance platform. The position is based in London, with a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office.

What will I be doing?

As a Project Manager - Oracle FCCS, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and managing the Group's Oracle FCCS solution, ensuring it remains aligned with business requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Driving the optimization, enhancement and continuous improvement of the consolidation and financial reporting platform.
  • Acting as the primary contact between Group Finance, IT teams and system integrators.
  • Building strong relationships with Finance stakeholders and serving as their partner for all consolidation related initiatives.
  • Challenging and managing external integrators to ensure high-quality delivery and best-practice implementation.
  • Coordinating multiple stakeholders across different business functions and geographies while managing expectations effectively.
  • Ensuring the FCCS platform supports evolving business needs, regulatory requirements, and reporting expectations.
  • Overseeing system releases, enhancements, upgrades and issue resolution activities.
  • Driving user adoption and supporting change management initiatives across the Finance organization.
  • Identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborating with other Finance Systems teams to promote integration and consistency across the Group's EPM ecosystem.

What kind of skills and background will I need?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing Oracle FCCS projects within large and complex international organizations.
  • Strong understanding of financial consolidation, statutory reporting, close processes and Group Finance operations.
  • Knowledge of Oracle FCCS and its integration within wider Oracle EPM environments.
  • Experience managing vendors, system integrators and external consulting partners.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior Finance and Technology leaders.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, including planning, risk management, governance and change management.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in international and matrix organizations is highly desirable.
