Project Manager & Senior Project Manager Opportunities

Northern Ireland & London

Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of prestigious projects, we are seeking experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to join our teams in Northern Ireland and London.

Current Opportunities

We are recruiting for the following positions:

  • Project Manager - Northern Ireland (Antrim), with travel to project locations as required.
  • Project Manager - London
  • Senior Project Manager - Northern Ireland (Antrim), with commute to London.
  • Senior Project Manager - London

Applicants will be considered for the most appropriate opportunity based on their experience, skills, and location preference.

The Opportunity

As a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, coordinating, and managing the resources necessary to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, leading project teams, and ensuring successful project delivery from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and ensure the necessary resources are organised to achieve delivery targets and programme milestones.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Manage project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with client requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their representatives, providing regular updates and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations while protecting the company's commercial position.
  • Establish clear reporting processes, performance measures, and project controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement and value engineering opportunities throughout project delivery.

For Senior Project Manager positions, additional responsibilities will include:

  • Leading larger and more complex projects.
  • Providing strategic oversight.
  • Mentoring project teams.
  • Supporting business growth through exceptional client engagement and project delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven project management experience within construction, fit-out, interiors, joinery, or a related sector.
  • For Senior Project Manager positions: extensive experience leading the successful delivery of large-scale and/or complex projects, with demonstrable responsibility for project performance, commercial outcomes, programme delivery, and client relationships.
  • A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial, contractual, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage project delivery, programme, costs, and client expectations.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support project delivery.
