You will be working in the Cementation OU based in Doncaster, where for over a century, Cementation Skanska has been a trusted leader in piling and ground engineering. Our breadth of expertise spans every aspect of geotechnical engineering - from micro-piling to diaphragm walls - enabling us to deliver innovative solutions for the most complex challenges.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the safe, successful and profitable delivery of steel fabrication and installation projects from pre-construction through to completion

As The Project Manager, You Will

  • Manage fabrication and installation projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from tender support and pre-construction through to handover and final account.
  • Lead project planning, programme management and delivery activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate closely with Production to ensure production activities align with project requirements and installation programmes.
  • Maintain responsibility for project quality, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, CDM requirements and customer expectations.
  • Manage subcontractors and site installation teams, ensuring safe working practices and efficient delivery of works.
  • Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout project delivery, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with commercial, design, procurement and production teams to manage budgets, risks, change control and project performance.

We Are Looking For

  • Proven project management experience within steel fabrication, structural steelwork, manufacturing, engineering or construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication, production, installation, quality, safety and project delivery processes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective client and team relationships.
  • Relevant engineering, construction or manufacturing qualification, or equivalent industry experience; knowledge of Tekla, CAD systems and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
