Project Manager – Multi‑Utilities (MU)
North West, Full-time, Utilities / Multi-Utilities
We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager (MU) to oversee multi-utility projects across the North West. You’ll be responsible for safe, efficient and profitable delivery of schemes, working closely with developers, internal teams and subcontractors from design handover through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of multi-utility projects from start to finish
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all sites
- Complete audits, toolbox talks and incident reporting
- Coordinate design handovers, pre-starts, mains laying, permits and plot connections
- Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
- Manage operatives and subcontractors to maximise productivity
- Monitor ELFs, CVRs, costs and material usage
- Order plant, equipment and materials accurately
- Maintain site standards, signage and housekeeping
- Submit paperwork, completions and PODs on time
- Support efficient, profitable project delivery

Who are we looking for?
- 5+ years’ experience in the Multi-Utility industry
- 5+ years in a supervisory or management role
- CITB SMSTS
- NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor
- EUSR SHEA G/W/E
- EUSR SCO (GB) 1 & 2, SCO (GB) 5
- EUSR Safe Control of Mains Connections (Water)
- EUSR SCMC(W) Senior Competent Person
- First Aid (3-day)
- Full UK driving licence
Skills & Attributes
- Strong understanding of utilities and safe working practices
- Excellent planning, organisation and leadership skills
- Confident interpreting drawings and managing site progress
- Strong communicator with client-focused approach
- Results-driven, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Reliable, professional and committed to high standards
