Project Manager – UK Data Centre Portfolio
London, UK | Full Time
December or January Start
An exciting opportunity is available with a fast-growing Project & Cost Management consultancy that is expanding its Data Centre team in London.
Leading a portfolio of Data Centre projects across London, you will take a lead role, interfacing directly with the client and delivering all aspects of project management from inception through to handover on a repeat basis.
The role is suited to individuals looking to step up, take on greater responsibility and progress their career, particularly those who enjoy client-facing roles and working closely with key stakeholders.
About the Role
- Manage a portfolio of major Data Centre projects across London
- Support and work closely with a Senior Project Manager
- Take responsibility for day-to-day project delivery and coordination
- Prepare and analyse construction programmes
- Monitor project progress, risks and key deliverables
- Prepare detailed reports and project updates for clients
- Attend and lead client meetings where appropriate
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders
- Support the wider Project Management team throughout the project lifecycle
- Build strong, long-term client relationships

About You
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 2–5 years' relevant experience
- Previous Data Centre / Mission Critical experience
- Experience within a consultancy, client/developer or contractor environment
- Strong understanding of construction delivery and project management
- Experience preparing and analysing construction programmes
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Contract administration experience would be advantageous
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
- A proactive and commercially aware approach
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
