Project Manager / PMO Lead, Third Party Risk Management Operating Model

Function: Third Party Risk Management Programme

Location: Central London (Hybrid, 3 days a week on site, 2 days from home)

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Until the end of 2027

Daily Rate: Competitive, Inside IR35

Role purpose

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / PMO Lead, Third Party Risk Management Operating Model to manage the day-to-day delivery and programme management activity required to support the design, mobilisation and implementation of the TPRM operating model.

Working under the direction of the Operating Model Design Lead and alongside the assigned TPRM subject matter expert, the role holder will translate the strategic design direction into a clear, controlled and deliverable plan. They will maintain delivery discipline, coordinate activity across workstreams, and provide timely and accurate reporting to programme governance and the broader programme.

Principal accountabilities

Project and delivery management

  • Develop, maintain and manage the integrated project plan, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resources and critical path.
  • Translate the Design Lead’s strategic direction and priorities into clear actions, delivery schedules and workstream requirements.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activity across the Design Lead, TPRM subject matter expert, workstreams and key stakeholders.
  • Track delivery against agreed outcomes and milestones, challenge slippage, and drive timely recovery actions.
  • Manage planning cycles, governance deadlines and programme reporting requirements.
  • Support mobilisation, implementation planning and transition into business-as-usual operation.

PMO controls, governance and reporting

  • Own and maintain the RAID log, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies are clearly recorded, actively managed and escalated where required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely Clarity updates in line with programme standards and reporting cycles.
  • Produce high-quality workstream status reports, including progress, milestones, risks, decisions, dependencies and required actions.
  • Provide regular, concise updates to the broader programme and relevant governance forums.
  • Maintain decision, action and change logs, ensuring clear ownership and timely closure.
  • Prepare governance packs, meeting materials and supporting information for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure project records and evidence are complete, current and maintained to the required standard.

Stakeholder and workstream coordination

  • Establish and manage an effective meeting cadence across the workstream.
  • Prepare agendas, capture decisions and actions, and follow through to completion.
  • Coordinate inputs from Regions, Global Businesses and Global Functions, Procurement, Business Risk and Resilience, and other relevant teams.
  • Identify and manage cross-workstream dependencies, ensuring impacts are understood and reflected in the plan.
  • Support the Design Lead with clear delivery information, options and recommendations.
  • Maintain effective communications so stakeholders understand progress, priorities, risks and upcoming activity.

Experience required

  • Significant experience managing complex change projects or workstreams within a global, highly regulated organisation.
  • Strong project management and PMO experience, including ownership of integrated plans, RAID logs, governance reporting and delivery controls.
  • Proven experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, milestones and senior stakeholder commitments.
  • Experience using Clarity or a comparable enterprise project management tool.
  • Ability to convert strategic direction and design activity into structured, executable delivery plans.
  • Experience producing concise, accurate status reports and updates for senior governance and broader programmes.
  • Experience supporting operating model, risk, transformation or regulatory change initiatives is preferred.
