As part of one of Europe's leading construction and infrastructure groups, we deliver complex, high-value projects across transportation, civil engineering, energy and infrastructure.
Our newly established Power team sits within the Infrastructure Division and has been created to support the continued growth of STRABAG UK in the energy sector. Working on major power transmission, substation and National Grid infrastructure projects across the UK, our team plays a vital role in delivering resilient, low-carbon energy networks that will support generations to come.

Requirements
The Project Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of transmission and distribution projects from contract award through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality, safety, and environmental standards while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Lead project delivery throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, programme, budget, resources, risks, and change control.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Manage NEC contracts and support commercial and procurement activities.
- Provide regular project performance reporting, including progress, financials, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and support future business opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive safety culture.

Qualifications
Required:
- Proven project management experience within the Power Transmission & Distribution sector.
- Strong working knowledge of CDM regulations and NG safety rules/PTW procedures.
- Experience managing project budgets, programmes, risks, and NEC contracts.
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and team management skills.
Desirable
- Recognised Project Management qualification
- Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH, SMSTS, or NEBOSH
- Experience in delivering projects for National Grid Electricity Transmission
