THE TEAM

Join our high-performing Pre-Construction Team delivering complex utility infrastructure and cable installation projects across the power network—up to and including 400kV. You'll report to the Pre-Construction Manager and play a pivotal role in managing planning, operations, SHEQ compliance, and commercial delivery during early-stage works.

SCOPE OF ROLE

You’ll lead day-to-day delivery of pre-construction activities for major power and civils projects, overseeing site operations, people management, and programme delivery. With responsibility for safety, quality, cost, and programme, you’ll ensure that all works meet regulatory, client, and internal expectations—maximising performance while building trusted relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED

Operational Leadership

  • Manage assigned projects from planning through to handover, ensuring safety, programme, quality, and budget targets are met.
  • Lead site operations for framework contracts delivering HV/EHV (up to 400kV) civil and cable installation services
  • Carry out weekly progress reviews, deliver work plans, and liaise with subcontractors and JSM teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
