Role Description
The Project Manager for “Preventing mental health issues in ethnically diverse youth: A feasibility pilot study (PRIMA)” will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of this research project. This full-time, on-site role, based in Worcestershire, involves overseeing project timelines, managing resources and budgets, and ensuring that milestones and ethical requirements are met. The post holder will coordinate with academic staff, research partners, community organizations, and participants, organizing meetings, monitoring progress, and preparing project documentation and reports. Day-to-day tasks include tracking activities, addressing operational issues, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the dissemination of findings through presentations and written outputs. The Project Manager will also support risk management and continuous improvement to ensure the project’s feasibility and impact.

- Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and monitoring project activities.
- Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills for quality assurance, compliance checks, and adherence to project protocols.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to organize resources, scheduling, and on-site activities.
- Relevant experience in managing research or health-related projects, preferably involving youth or ethnically diverse communities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Understanding of mental health, public health, or social sciences, supported by an appropriate degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practice in project delivery.
