This is a delivery-first project management role with strong PMO and governance capability.
The successful candidate will lead and deliver business-led transformation and operational projects on behalf of the COO, while also helping to establish the governance, reporting, and PMO infrastructure needed to support a new function. The role requires someone who can operate independently, bring structure to ambiguity, and translate senior-level priorities into a clear transformation plan with executable actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver business-led transformation and operational projects for the COO Office.
  • Distill meetings, actions, and strategic priorities into a coherent transformation roadmap.
  • Drive execution against agreed plans, milestones, actions, and outcomes.
  • Stand up PMO and governance infrastructure from scratch, including:
    • templates
    • frameworks
    • RAID logs
    • reporting cadences
    • tracking and status reporting
  • Calibrate governance appropriately for an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment.
  • Engage directly with senior stakeholders to secure sponsorship, alignment, and buy-in.
  • Support organisational and operating model work arising from broader business reviews.
  • Act as a bridge between strategic narrative and delivery detail, ensuring communications remain focused on business outcomes.
  • Help define what sits within COO-led business transformation versus technology-led change as the function develops.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
