Role Overview
As a Project Manager in our Professional Services team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation and onboarding of our software solutions at broadcasters around the world. You will be in charge of the successful deployment of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will interact with various stakeholders at our clients and manage effective relevant communication on project status and requirements at different levels.
In addition, the Project Manager contributes to smooth intake of projects through collaboration with our pre-sales team, and smooth handover of projects to our Support department. This role calls for a balance between strategic oversight and detailed execution within multiple parallel projects, all aiming towards customer satisfaction, project profitability, and continuous service delivery improvement. A key factor to success will be the ability to balance and organize customer and stakeholder requests, in a people-focused and positive way, across multiple projects running in parallel.
KPI’s for this role will be aligned with the Global Services objectives around customer satisfaction, planning accuracy, reporting accuracy, and resource utilisation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar
- Minimum of two years of project management skills and experience, including knowledge of project planning tools with evidence of practical application
- Experience with running a project team
- Strong background with software technologies – B2B focus is essential
- Some commercial responsibility – either budgetary, project or P&L related
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP preferred)
- Fluency in German is required for this role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful planning, controlling, and execution of specific projects
- Organizing and day-to-day management of a project delivery team of solution architects and/or system engineers, ensuring optimal resource allocation and project delivery
- Regular review and evaluation of project management best practices to achieve high-quality service delivery
- Responsibility for customer satisfaction, project profitability, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on-time
- Supporting the implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines, and standards
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, maintaining effective communication regarding project status and requirements.
- Collaborating with various departments to assist in pre-sales activities, provide necessary project documentation, and ensure a successful handover of projects to the Support department
Tasks and Duties
- Develop project plans and oversee their successful execution
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of project management practices and identify opportunities for improvement
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within allocated resources
- Implement project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines, and standards to enhance efficiency
- Actively participate in pre-sales activities, assisting the sales department with quotations, high-level project plans, and required documentation
- Facilitate the successful handover of projects to the Support department, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed and handed over
- Ensure the accuracy of time-reporting and other project-related administrative tasks
- Collect and share enhanced knowledge and customer feedback to support continuous improvement efforts within the organization
- Help to build a Customer Success mindset across the organization through effective partnership working, advocacy and professionalism as a member of the Global Services team.

Reporting Line
- Solid line to a Senior Project Manager or Project Delivery Manager
Supervision Received
The Project Manager will work as part of the project team and will receive guidance and supervision from a Senior Project Manager or the direct supervisor, as applicable.
