The Role
We are looking for a capable and hands-on Project Manager to support and deliver engineering projects across process, instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical disciplines. This role is practical and delivery-focused, working closely with the wider Projects and Controls teams to ensure equipment is specified correctly, procured efficiently, and installed and commissioned to a high standard.
You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from producing P&IDs and technical documentation, through to coordinating suppliers and contractors, and leading commissioning activities on site. The role requires someone who can manage multiple tasks at different stages, stay organised, and maintain strong communication with colleagues, customers, and partners.
This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys being hands-on, taking ownership of work packages, and contributing to successful project delivery.
The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages simultaneously, while representing iGAS with professionalism to clients and partners worldwide.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
