Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing infrastructure delivery team, managing a range of projects across major operational sites within the water sector. The initial projects will involve perimeter fencing, minor civils and associated infrastructure works, with further opportunities across wider infrastructure and security-related projects supporting critical water and wastewater assets.

The role would suit a Project Manager from a civil engineering, M&E, EC&I, minor civils, security or related infrastructure background. Previous security experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as the specialist elements of the work can be learned quickly. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects from mobilisation through to completion, managing programme, commercial performance, client relationships and delivery standards in an essential sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and mobilise projects from award through to successful completion.
  • Take ownership of project budgets, forecasts, margin and overall financial performance.
  • Support monthly commercial and financial reviews, ensuring accurate reporting and cost control.
  • Manage project programmes, monitor progress and ensure works remain on track.
  • Coordinate design information and liaise with designers, engineers and supply chain partners.
  • Manage the delivery of perimeter fencing, minor civils and associated infrastructure works.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
  • Coordinate site teams, labour, materials and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor site progress and proactively resolve technical, commercial and operational issues.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with CDM, health and safety, quality and environmental requirements.
  • Support project mobilisation and maintain effective communication across site, commercial and design teams.
  • Promote a collaborative, customer-focused approach throughout project delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
