Project Manager
Reports to: Operations Improvement Director
Direct Reports: Project Managers and Project Analysts

Thomas Miller is entering an exciting new chapter, as two world-leading mutual insurers under our management, TT Club & UK P&I Club embark on a merger. To ensure these changes improve experiences to our people, members, and business, both mutuals have mobilised a new joint internal Change & Transformation portfolio of work.
About The Team
The Change Delivery team is responsible for delivering strategic business and technology change that enables the organisation to achieve its objectives, improve operational effectiveness, enhance member experience, and meet regulatory requirements. Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Technology teams, and business stakeholders, the team delivers complex initiatives using agile delivery approaches.
The team promotes collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and value-driven delivery, ensuring that change is delivered efficiently while maintaining high standards of governance and quality.
The Type Of Work You'll Do
As a Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of projects that support strategic, operational, and technology objectives. You will manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholders, ensuring agreed outcomes are delivered effectively.
Responsibilities Of The Role
- Lead projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, schedules, and governance artefacts.
- Coordinate project resources and delivery activities across business and technology teams.
- Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and actions.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Provide regular project reporting and status updates to governance forums.
- Support business readiness, change adoption, and transition to business-as-usual activities.
- Ensure compliance with project delivery standards, policies, and governance requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the delivery practice.
- Support and coach Project Analysts and less experienced team members where appropriate.

The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications You Need
- Experience managing projects within a structured delivery environment.
- Experience delivering business and technology change initiatives.
- Strong planning, organisation, and project control skills.
- Experience managing project risks, issues, budgets, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications That Will Help
- Experience delivering transformation programmes.
- Insurance or regulated industry experience.
- MSP, Prince2 Practitioner, AgilePM, or equivalent.
- Supplier and commercial management experience.
