Project Manager

Grangemouth | Permanent | Competitive salary + benefits

Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, partnering with customers worldwide to bring life-changing medicines to market. As they continue to grow their Commercial team at the Grangemouth site, they're looking for a confident, client-focused Project Manager to take the reins on complex, high-value programmes.

You'll be the face of the business to your clients — the person they trust to deliver on time, on budget and on quality, from process and analytical development right through to GMP manufacture. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with Business Development, R&D, Operations, Quality and Finance, and you'll have real influence over how projects are shaped and delivered.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing multiple concurrent projects - owning scope, critical path, timelines and financial milestones
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for your clients, communicating openly on quality, budget and delivery, and bringing solutions, not just problems
  • Building and maintaining project plans and RAID logs that set the standard for the wider team
  • Spotting risk and scope creep early, and leading the conversations needed to manage them
  • Tracking revenue forecasts and reporting milestone achievements to Finance
  • Chairing team meetings, keeping accurate minutes, and making sure information flows both ways
  • Mentoring colleagues and helping build a positive, high-performing team culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
