Project Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology initiatives within a world-class scientific research environment.
You’ll work across research computing, enterprise IT, scientific applications, infrastructure, security and integration, coordinating technical teams and scientific stakeholders to ensure critical projects are delivered effectively.
This is not a standard corporate IT Project Manager position. You’ll be working in an environment supporting scientists and researchers using advanced computing and technology to enable cutting-edge research.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading complex technology and research-computing projects from planning through to delivery
- Managing project plans, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies
- Coordinating teams across HPC, infrastructure, security, applications and integration
- Working closely with scientists, researchers, engineers and senior technical stakeholders
- Running Agile/Scrum delivery processes
- Providing clear governance, reporting and stakeholder communication
- Identifying delivery risks and ensuring issues are resolved effectively
- Managing dependencies across multiple technical workstreams

What we're looking for
You'll have strong experience delivering complex technical projects, ideally within life sciences, pharmaceutical, academic research, scientific computing or another R&D-intensive environment.

- Cloud or Kubernetes
You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable operating in highly technical environments and communicating effectively with both technical specialists and scientific stakeholders.
