Role Description
Project Manager (Retail)
East Midlands (Hybrid)
3-Month Fixed-Term Contract or Inside IR35 Contract
Immediate Joiners Preferred
UST is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic IT and business change initiatives within a retail environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive complex projects from inception through to successful delivery.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 9+ years of IT industry experience
- Proven track record delivering end-to-end IT projects
- Strong experience leading cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore locations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within a retail organisation
- Strong understanding of business processes across areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations
- Expertise in project governance, risk management, planning, and delivery methodologies
- Project management certification such as PRINCE2, APM PMQ, or PMP

- Lead project delivery from initiation through to implementation
- Manage project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and governance
- Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders
- Coordinate geographically distributed delivery teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives
