Project Manager – Rotary Aircraft

Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is recruiting for two Project Manager's to guide the development and delivery of Key Additional Task projects across the Chinook and Apache platforms.
Both these roles are a vital part of the Additional Tasks Portfolio of projects.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lead project development and execution across the Chinook and Apache rotorcraft platforms.
- Manage the delivery of Key Additional Task projects within the broader portfolio.
- Motivate team members with varying experience levels and technical abilities.
- Inspire outstanding performance and high-quality deliverables from the project team.
- Oversee and collaborate closely with external supply chain partners.
- Control project risks, issues, opportunities, contracts, change processing, and estimating.
- Utilise specialised industry tools to track, report, and advance project milestones.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience: Proven track record as a project manager within the aerospace industry.
- Leadership: First-class leadership, motivational, and detail-oriented management skills.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication capabilities.
- Organisation: Strong time management skills and a deep knowledge of functional disciplines.
- Vendor Management: Direct experience managing external supply chain partners.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Sector Expertise: Project management background specifically within the Defence Aerospace sector.
- Platform Knowledge: Direct experience working with Rotorcraft platforms.
- Systems: Familiarity with Boeing or industry-recognized systems for managing risk, change, contracts, and estimating.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
