Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Scaffolding Projects Manager to oversee multiple live projects across Oxford and the Midlands.
This is a hands-on freelance opportunity for an experienced scaffolding professional who can take ownership of project delivery, leading site teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required commercial and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day delivery across multiple scaffolding projects.
- Coordinate labour, supervisors and site teams across live projects.
- Forecast labour requirements and manage resources effectively.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, costs and stock usage.
- Oversee scaffold inspections, handovers and compliance.
- Ensure works comply with TG20:21, SG4:22, NASC guidance and relevant scaffold designs.
- Ensure RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks and inspections are completed.
- Carry out and oversee point-of-work risk assessments.
- Liaise with Tier 1 contractors, regional builders, clients and site teams.
- Work closely with commercial, transport and yard teams.
- Support pricing, programming and commercial management of works.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and productivity.
- Provide leadership and support to supervisors, lead hands and scaffolders.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scaffolding Projects Manager or similar senior scaffolding position.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding operations, design and NASC guidance.
- Advanced Scaffolder & Inspection Card.
- SSSTS / SMSTS or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Commercial awareness and good organisational ability.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
