Project Manager with Microsoft Ecosystem Knowledge

Lithium3 are looking for a Project Manager with Microsoft ecosystem knowledge — particularly M365, Azure/Entra, Power Platform and ideally Copilot.

ServiceNow experience is highly desirable.

£550 per day.

Outside IR35

In the office once every fortnight.

6 months initially.

The role is roughly 60% application/programme delivery, 20% technical understanding, 20% business/change management.

The strongest profile would have these skills:

• Application delivery experience — ideally enterprise applications, SaaS, integrations, and business systems rather than pure infrastructure.
• Strong Project Management — planning, RAID, dependencies, budgets, milestones, governance, and senior reporting.
• Requirements and process skills — enough BA capability to turn business problems into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Integration understanding — APIs, data flows, SSO, identity, environments, interfaces, and dependencies between applications.
• AI/application governance awareness — permissions, information protection, data residency, security, responsible AI, and change control.
• Testing and release management — SIT, UAT, defects, release gates, rollback, deployment planning, and production readiness.
• Service transition / BAU handover — ownership model, support processes, L1/L2/L3 responsibilities, SLAs, monitoring, and handover into operational support.
• Vendor management — comfortable managing Microsoft, systems integrators, and specialist suppliers rather than letting suppliers dictate the programme.
• Change and adoption awareness — you don’t need to be the comms lead, but you need to understand training, adoption, champions, and business readiness.
• Executive communication — somebody who can turn technical noise into a simple: green / amber / red, decision required, impact, owner, date.
