Project Manager for Audio-Visual and Technical Installations
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage audio-visual and technical installations for a variety of live events, predominantly corporate events worldwide.
You will have a proven track record in project management within the exhibition sector, the ability to organise, multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment, and strong technical knowledge and outstanding client service skills.

Primary Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for a wide range of global projects
- Travelling globally to oversee and manage events on site
- Overseeing all aspects of projects, from initial design, budgeting, planning and preparation through to delivery and post-event review meetings
- Building, nurturing and developing client relationships
- Carrying out site visits and venue assessments
- Taking client briefs and providing commercially and technically sound quotations in a timely manner
- Outlining project timeframes and budgets
- Controlling project costs to ensure projects achieve specified profit margins while upholding exceptionally high quality standards
- Working with technical drawings and stand plans, and liaising with our technical team to obtain CAD drawings and 3D visualisations
- Sourcing and managing suppliers
- Managing all internal crew and external contractors on site as required
- Adhering to and promoting company policies and procedures
- Maintaining Health and Safety standards and ensuring on-site Health and Safety briefings are held

Qualifications and Prerequisites

- Experience in project management of live technical events, specifically exhibitions
- A broad technical understanding, ideally across video, sound, lighting and IT
- Commercial awareness and budgetary skills, with a clear understanding of the company's business and the ability to balance cost and quality effectively while ensuring profitability
- Meticulous planning skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and to delegate appropriately
- The flexibility to meet the demands of the live events industry, including availability to work overtime, early mornings, late evenings and some weekends
- The ability and willingness to travel: you will predominantly work in and around London, but will need to travel to our head office in Hertford and further afield as required
- Highly client-focused, as delivering the best quality service to our clients is at the heart of what we do
- Strong, positive leadership skills, with the ability to command respect and to engage, motivate and gain commitment from others
- Willingness to comply with and support company policies and procedures
- A great team player
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Rigging experience is preferred but not essential
