Senior Project Manager - SaaS Implementation / Student Management Systems
12-month FTC | £70,000-£80,000 | London | Hybrid - 2 days per week
We're recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a new organisation-wide management platform for a large London-based charity operating across 43 sites.
The organisation is replacing its current system with a new SaaS platform that will sit at the heart of its day-to-day operations, covering areas including enrolment, individual records, attendance, scheduling, payments, reporting and wider operational processes.
Given the nature of the platform, we're particularly interested in Project Managers from a Higher Education background who have delivered a Student Management, Student Records or Student Information System implementation or replacement.
The Role
You'll take ownership of the implementation from discovery through to go-live and rollout across all 43 sites, working closely with the software provider and internal business, operational and technology teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the end-to-end implementation of the new SaaS management platform
- Running discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders across the organisation
- Owning the overall project plan, milestones, dependencies, RAID and governance
- Managing the relationship and delivery plan with the external software vendor
- Overseeing system configuration and managing requirements against the capabilities of the platform
- Leading data migration, integrations, testing and UAT
- Coordinating training, business readiness and change activity ahead of rollout
- Managing a phased implementation across 43 sites
- Providing clear reporting and updates to senior stakeholders
- Taking the programme through go-live and transition into BAU

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Experience with platforms such as SITS / Tribal SITS, TechnologyOne, Ellucian Banner, Unit4 Student Management or similar

- Strong data migration, integration, testing and UAT experience
- Experience managing third-party software vendors
- Strong governance, RAID, dependency and project planning skills
- Experience delivering across multiple stakeholder groups and/or locations
- A structured Waterfall or hybrid delivery background
