Job Title

Pershing Consultants is a specialist project management consultancy supporting the development of major energy and infrastructure projects. We are looking for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to help clients progress complex projects through the development and consenting stages.

You will oversee projects or lead specific development work-streams, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing interfaces and keeping programmes, budgets and deliverables on track. Working closely with clients, technical specialists and stakeholders, you will bring structure to complex challenges and help teams make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing development-phase projects or work-streams, primarily within Development Consent Order (DCO) or Developments of National Significance (DNS) projects.
  • Coordinating planning, environmental, engineering, legal and other specialist inputs.
  • Managing programmes, budgets, risks, dependencies and change.
  • Maintaining clear governance, reporting progress and resolving issues.
  • Building effective relationships with clients, project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the development of a growing consultancy through knowledge sharing, service improvement and client relationships.
  • At Senior Project Manager level, you will take greater ownership of complex assignments, provide strategic advice to clients and support colleagues in their development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
