Project Manager – CAPEX Programmes (South Region)
Location: South of England | Remote with Extensive Travel
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance + Travel Expenses
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing team delivering CAPEX, infrastructure and deployment projects across the South of England. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager looking to progress their career within a fast-paced organisation. You will take ownership of contractor-led build and deployment programmes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The role will suit individuals who thrive in a stakeholder-focused environment and have experience managing complex projects across construction, infrastructure and engineering-related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning and mobilisation through to implementation, commissioning and handover.
- Manage budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies and project governance.
- Oversee contractors, suppliers and framework agreements.
- Manage contractor performance, compliance, quality and health & safety standards.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered against agreed time, cost and quality objectives.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior stakeholders.

Essential Requirements
- Proven track record delivering complex projects as a Project Manager.
- Strong project management experience within construction, infrastructure or engineering environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing contractors, deployment/build programmes and supplier relationships.
- Strong contract management experience, particularly within NEC3/NEC4 environments.
- Experience working within framework agreements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ambitious and career-driven, with a desire to progress within the business.
- PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent Project Management qualification desirable.
