Location: South West (Site-based)
Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager looking for your next opportunity in the South West? We're looking for a proactive, organised and commercially aware Project Manager to take responsibility for delivering construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.
You'll work closely with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders to ensure projects run smoothly and achieve successful outcomes. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive environment where collaboration, progression and professional development are encouraged.
About The Role
As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of allocated construction projects across the South West. You will oversee project planning, coordination and delivery, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage detailed project plans, including Construction Phase Plans, Quality Plans and Environmental Plans.
- Ensure high standards of health, safety, quality and welfare are maintained throughout each project.
- Lead project meetings, including design coordination, progress reviews and stakeholder meetings, ensuring actions are monitored and delivered.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure works are completed in line with specifications, programme and budget.
- Monitor project programmes, schedules, resources and progress to ensure successful delivery.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, risk registers, site records and regular reporting.
- Identify and manage operational, programme and commercial risks.
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams to maintain financial control and maximise project performance.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the successful handover and completion of projects.

- Proven experience managing construction projects from start to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety legislation and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, programmes and resources effectively.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
- Good understanding of project planning, reporting and construction management systems.
- The flexibility to work across projects throughout the South West.
- Relevant qualifications such as CIOB or RICS, alongside SMSTS and CSCS, would be advantageous.
