SITE-BASED PROJECT MANAGER - STRUCTURAL STEEL

Up to €80,000 + Living Allowance | International Travel

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong structural steel background looking for an exciting international opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for a Site-Based Project Manager to join a well-established, family-run international structural steel company delivering major projects across Europe and the UK.

Locations: Denmark, Austria, UK & projects across Europe

Salary: Up to €80,000 + living allowance

THE ROLE

The Project Manager will be office-oriented but based on the relevant project site, acting as the key link between the site team and the company's Southern Ireland office.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects remain on programme, properly forecasted and effectively coordinated from site through to head office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage structural steel projects from site through to completion
  • Lead look-ahead planning and project programming
  • Monitor progress, performance and project forecasts
  • Ensure the site team remains aligned with agreed programmes and targets
  • Act as the key link between the project site and Southern Ireland office
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, site teams and internal departments
  • Identify potential programme issues and implement solutions
  • Provide regular project updates and forecasts to senior management
  • Support the successful delivery of large-scale structural steel projects

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong structural steel experience - essential
  • Proven Project Management experience within the steelwork/construction industry
  • Experience managing projects from planning through to completion
  • Strong understanding of programming, look-ahead planning and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently while maintaining strong links with head office
  • A flexible approach and willingness to work internationally
  • EU passport / eligibility to travel and work across Europe
