Join DOF as our Project Manager – Subsea Cables
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Subsea Cables to join our Project Delivery team. In this role, you will support new project tender acquisition and project execution within DOF’s Construction Service Line, with a particular focus on cable installation and cable repair projects within the offshore renewables sector.
You will be responsible for managing assigned cable project scopes, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality, cost and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned subsea cable project scopes from execution through to project close-out.
- Lead and coordinate project teams across technical and commercial activities.
- Act as a key interface with clients and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal project reporting and communicate project performance.
- Take responsibility for project cost, schedule, quality and safety.
- Support contract and change management activities.
- Manage project close-out and handover responsibilities.
- Support new project tender acquisition and project development activities.
- Promote and demonstrate a positive Health, Safety and Environmental culture across all project activities.
Requirements
- Relevant professional qualification or degree.
- Formal project management training or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years' experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary scopes involving cable pull-in activities, chartered CTVs, termination and testing, and offshore operations management.
- Broad technical understanding of subsea cable installation.
- Previous experience delivering projects within a technical execution environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective planning and organisational capability.
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills.
