Salary: Grade 3 Point 24-28: £32,635 - £36,158 FTE per annum, plus £480 home-based allowance (29.6 hpw = £26,108.00 - £28,926.40 per annum, pro rata)
Hours of work: 29.6 – 37 hours per week (0.8 – 1.0), to be negotiated with the successful candidate
Contract: Permanent
Location: Home Based with the requirement for frequent local travel and some national travel

All about the role:
As Wiltshire SENDIASS Project Manager, you will lead on the management and delivery of the Wiltshire Special Education Needs and Disabilities Information and Advice Service. This service informs parents, children and young people who reside in Wiltshire of their rights in the SEND process, by keeping abreast of education and other relevant legislation and SEND policy and supporting their navigation through the SEND assessment process.
With a solution-focused, change management approach, the post holder will oversee a team of Case Officers and a Triage and Information Officer (TIO) and volunteers, and hold a small-medium complex caseload, depending on demand.
This role includes responsibility for leading the team and supporting wider development of the service in line with the service’s continuous improvement and development plan.
The Wiltshire SENDIASS Project Manager will ensure the service meets the statutory duties as set out in the Children and Families Act (CFA) 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice, as well as ensuring the service meets all criteria within the minimum IASS standards.
To join us as Wiltshire SENDIASS Project Manager, you will have a recognised professional qualification in education, health, social work or equivalent; evidence of completing (or being willing to complete during induction) IPSEA Levels 1-3, plus a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Main Responsibilities:
- You will manage a small team of staff, and potentially volunteers, leading the team in a child focused approach to improving outcomes. You will also hold a small-medium, complex caseload of your own.
- You will ensure that the service meets its statutory duties as set out on the Children and Families Act 2014 and is delivered in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice, as well as ensuring that the service meets all the criteria within the minimum IASS standards.
