Company Description
Due to continued business growth Interventek is currently expanding its project and workshop teams. We have full-time openings based at our head office in Aberdeen.
Interventek is an innovative subsea engineering business focused on developing state-of-the-art well access systems for the upstream oil and gas sector. This is an exciting opportunity for creative, motivated and ambitious people to join us at a pivotal point of expansion.

Job Summary
The Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate all activities to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframes and funding parameters, and that projects comply with customer contract specifications and stakeholder requirements.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
- Minimum 5 years project management experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry
- Project management qualification preferred (e.g., APM)
- Competent in project scheduling software
- Subsea product knowledge is advantageous
- Good level of financial awareness
- High degree of professionalism with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written & presentation)
- Good problem solver with ability to manage challenging issues

Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as primary interface on assigned projects for internal (Project management, engineering, QA, manufacturing, assembly / test, service, sales, etc.) and external customers
- Review agreed work scope as defined within the customer contract / PO and technical specification
- Issue work instructions and documentation to required departments (engineering, procurement, QA)
- Generate and maintain project schedule, including engineering, procurement, assembly and test activities and monitor/ report on progress.
- Evaluate and manage project risks
- Deliver project presentations to stakeholders
- Chair regular internal project and client meetings
- Prepare regular status reports for customers and stakeholders
- Maintain project documentation in line with Interventek’s ‘Project Processes’ procedure
- Control the issue of project related documentation
- Create and maintain project spend and forecast reporting.
- Take responsibility for initiating invoicing of project milestones
- Identify and prepare customer variation orders and maintain VO register
- Assist in pricing exercises and the preparation of proposals for after sales support
- Work within the company’s Integrated Management System
- Ensure a free flow of project information between departments.
