About the role
In this customer-focused role, the Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex Microsoft Modern Work and Microsoft 365 projects for clients ranging from SMEs to enterprise-scale environments.
You need to be credible in delivering technical solutions across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, cloud, workplace, security and digital transformation initiatives, you will be responsible for driving projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring agreed business outcomes, project milestones, budgets and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
As the primary point of contact for clients, you will coordinate and manage the delivery of multidisciplinary technical teams, including senior consultants, architects and specialist engineers. You will be expected to take a dynamic and agile approach to project delivery, adapting plans and priorities as customer requirements evolve while maintaining strong governance, clear communication and delivery momentum.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, from initiation and planning through to implementation, transition and project closure.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the agreed scope, quality standards and business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, resource plans and status reporting.
- Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required.
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies and governance frameworks to maintain delivery control while remaining flexible to changing customer requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, providing clear communication, professional guidance and regular progress updates.
- Facilitate project governance meetings, steering groups, technical workshops and milestone reviews.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between customer objectives, technical delivery teams and commercial commitments.
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer outcomes and improve overall client satisfaction.
Technical Solution Delivery
- Manage the delivery of technical solutions across infrastructure, cloud, Microsoft 365, security, networking, workplace and digital transformation projects.
- Develop sufficient technical understanding to challenge assumptions, identify delivery risks and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Work closely with architects, consultants and technical specialists to ensure solutions are delivered in line with agreed designs and customer requirements.
- Coordinate technical workstreams, dependencies, testing, migration activities and service transition requirements.
Resource Planning & Coordination
- Plan, schedule and coordinate the activities of senior consultants, architects and specialist engineers across multiple concurrent projects.
- Optimise resource utilisation while balancing project priorities, delivery timelines and customer commitments.
- Collaborate with technical leadership and practice leads to secure appropriate delivery resources and specialist skills.
- Monitor project capacity and highlight potential resource constraints before they impact delivery.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Own project budgets, forecasts, profitability and resource effort tracking.
- Ensure project delivery remains aligned with contractual obligations and statements of work.
- Monitor project financial performance and take corrective action where delivery risks, scope creep or budget variances are identified.
- Support pre-sales and solution teams by providing delivery expertise during project scoping and planning activities.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive consistency, quality and best practice across project delivery processes.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies, tools and reporting.
- Support the development of junior project managers and coordinators through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration and delivery excellence across the organisation.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent industry recognised qualifications such as Agile/Waterfall.
- Strong familiarity with other industry-standard frameworks such as ITIL.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager for Managed Services and Professional Services providers within an enterprise environment
- Experience with cloud services and technologies, predominantly within the Microsoft Modern Work / M365 technology stack.
- Ability to manage delivery of multiple projects simultaneously to multiple customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong sense of commercial acumen, highly experienced in financial governance of projects, including budget and profitability tracking, invoicing, and managing changes to scope.
- Experience of planning and coordinating project resource.
- Proficient level of spoken and written English.
