The Opportunity

The role provides oversight and coordination across the Talent & Organisational Effectiveness portfolio, supporting alignment, governance, prioritisation and tracking execution of key strategic initiatives that strengthen leadership, talent, organisational effectiveness and culture across RS Group. To make an impact in this role you will be assisting with enabling the T&OE team to deliver its strategy success by creating clarity, alignment and accountability across strategic priorities. Through effective governance, planning, stakeholder engagement and execution discipline, ensuring initiatives translate into meaningful outcomes that strengthen leadership capability, organisational effectiveness and business performance.

The Project Manager will play a critical role in enabling the successful execution of the Talent & Organisational Effectiveness (T&OE) initiatives included in the RS People Strategy. Reporting to the Director of Group Leadership & Learning, the role acts as a partner to the T&OE initiative owners, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans, governed effectively and delivered with pace and impact.

The Talent & Organisational Effectiveness (T&OE) team plays a pivotal role in building the leadership, talent and organisational capability required to deliver RS Group's strategic ambitions. Working across leadership development, talent management, succession planning, organisational effectiveness, culture and capability building, the team partners with People Business Partners and leaders globally to drive sustainable business performance and enable future growth.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Partner with the T&OE initiative owners and delivery teams to translate strategic priorities into delivery plans, milestones and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor execution of the T&OE strategic roadmap and annual operating plan.
  • Maintain oversight of the T&OE portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritised, sequenced and delivered effectively.
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple strategic programmes and workstreams.
  • Establish and manage governance forums, leadership reviews and strategic planning processes.
  • Provide progress reporting, insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Support decision-making through high-quality analysis, presentations and executive briefing materials.
  • Facilitate collaboration across T&OE, HR, business leaders and Centres of Excellence.
  • Support the successful implementation of global talent, leadership, succession, organisational effectiveness and culture initiatives.
  • Track outcomes and benefits to ensure strategic objectives are achieved.
  • Champion continuous improvement in planning, governance and strategic execution across the T&OE function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
