Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Technology team at The All England Lawn Tennis Club.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage technology projects from conception through to service transition providing a first-class all year-round service with world-class support for The Championships.
- Accountable for driving the project lifecycle; solutions may be packaged, SaaS or bespoke and development resources will include both internal and external technology professionals.
- Nurture strong stakeholder relationships by working collaboratively to offer best practice advice and solutions so projects are maintained, designed, procured, and delivered in full, within budget, to the correct quality standard.
- Maintain robust project governance, including scope control, dependency management, budget tracking, change control and timely escalation of decisions required from sponsors or senior stakeholders.
- Work effectively with third-party suppliers and delivery partners, ensuring responsibilities, milestones, commercial commitments and service expectations are clear, tracked and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with the Technology Strategy and Planning team to gain a sound, comprehensive understanding of the various business areas to better manage assigned projects and align with business needs.
- Coordinate with the Operations team and the Service Delivery team to ensure smooth operational transition and excellent service delivery to the end user.
- Schedule application testing, user acceptance testing, and training before arranging deployment to the business.
- Identify project risks and issues; develop risk mitigation and escalation plans.
- Prepare project status reports to keep key stakeholders informed of project status and related issues, undertake risk and issue analysis and successfully manage these.
- Conduct post-project reviews to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments which are applicable to supporting the development of the AELTC's systems.

- Delivering services and systems critical for the operation and guest experience of The Championships within the required timelines.
- Participate in a rota where extended hours may be required to support product owners and end users with various systems.
- Meet with end users and product owners who may not be present year-round.
About you
- Ability to listen, influence, and communicate with a non-technical audience providing excellent service delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work successfully across a broad spectrum of stakeholders including end-users, technical teams, suppliers, and senior management.
- Flexibility to provide additional technology support throughout the project management cycle such as testing.
- Demonstrable experience of successful delivery of projects on schedule, on budget and of the right quality.
- Proven ability to write project plans; breaking down technical specifications into phases as needed and able to recognise the critical path activities in any project.
- Proven experience of delivering projects from third-party system suppliers which may include SaaS or package solutions.
- Experience managing projects using Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies, and the ability to utilise the most suitable methodology depending on the size and complexity of the project(s).
- Comfortable using AI-enabled tools to support day-to-day project management activities such as meeting preparation, action tracking, status reporting, risk analysis, documentation and stakeholder communications, with an understanding of responsible and secure use.
- Experience managing project where AI has been used as a delivery resource or fully embedded as part of the delivery lifecycle.

Application and data integration have become increasingly important to provide services for Wimbledon.com and our official apps.
