About the Role:
An established higher education institution is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a strategic, institution-wide Teaching Quality Improvement Programme (TQIP).
The programme aims to strengthen how teaching quality is governed, monitored, assured and supported across the institution. Following extensive internal and external review work, the programme is moving into its next phase, focusing on establishing effective governance arrangements, coordinating delivery activity and implementing an updated action plan.

- Track actions, decisions, risks, issues and benefits, ensuring progress against agreed milestones.
- Support the establishment and operation of programme boards and steering groups, including preparing committee papers, reports and senior leadership updates.
- Coordinate discovery and analysis activities, including workshops, stakeholder consultations, process reviews, policy reviews and data analysis.
- Consolidate findings from existing reviews, identify gaps and support the development of recommendations and improvement plans.
- Engage with senior academic and professional services stakeholders to build consensus and drive agreed actions forward.
- Support programme communications and change management activities.
- Manage risks and interdependencies, ensuring alignment with wider institutional transformation and improvement initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
