The Transforming Care Digitally (TCD) Programme is responsible for delivering digital transformation across GHC, improving the way services operate and supporting better outcomes for patients, carers and staff.

As a Project Manager within TCD, you will lead the delivery of complex digital transformation projects from concept through to implementation, adoption and benefits realisation. Working closely with clinical, operational, corporate and digital teams, you will help identify opportunities for improvement, develop business cases, manage project delivery and ensure solutions are successfully embedded into day-to-day practice.

The post holder will be responsible for convening and leading multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating a wide range of stakeholders and managing projects that support the Trust's strategic priorities and digital ambitions. This includes ensuring robust governance, effective risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement, operational readiness and successful transition into business as usual. To support engagement and delivery across projects this role requires post holders to be onsite a minimum of 2 days per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering digital change across the organisation, acting as the link between clinical and operational need, digital expertise and successful implementation. The role requires strong leadership, communication, analytical and project management skills, alongside a passion for delivering meaningful improvements for patients, services and staff.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Annual staff surveys, regular Pulse surveys and other engagement opportunities provide our people with lots of opportunity to tell us about their experiences of working with us. In the latest staff survey, 61% of colleagues gave us their views. It was great to hear that:

  • 72% of colleagues would recommend the Trust as a place to work, ranking us 1st for Provider Trusts in the South West region on this question.
  • 76% would recommend the standard of care provided in our services if a friend or relative needed treatment, also ranking us 1st in the South West region.
  • 81% said that care of patients and service users is the Trust’s priority, compared with an average in comparable NHS Trusts in England of 64%.

This high-level overview shows we are in a healthy position, with higher scores than average for comparable organisations, alongside a great response rate, indicating good staff engagement. However, we also know we have plenty of room for improvement in many areas. To that end, we continue to prioritise and invest in our commitment to genuinely becoming a Great Place to Work with consistent top-quartile performance in the annual staff survey and Pulse surveys.
