Vacancy: Project Manager (Transmission)
Location: Hebburn
Are you ready to lead the charge in the UK’s energy transition?
We have an exciting opportunity for an operations manager to join the Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation business and lead the Transmission Portfolios across all project phases including client engagement, proposals, delivery, as-builts, warranty and post-contract support.
In this role, lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complete engineering solutions within customer parameters (safety, cost, time, functionality). Drive continuous improvement and maintain project delivery excellence.
This role will be based out of our Hebburn office, 2-3 days per week on a hybrid working basis. Travel to other Siemens sites and customers locations in the UK will also be required as the need arises.
You will make a difference by
- Leading the strategic direction and growth of the Smart Infrastructure, Electrification and Automation Transmission portfolio, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Managing a portfolio of complex engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery against budget, schedule, quality and resource objectives.
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and supporting sales growth within the market.
- Driving engineering excellence by overseeing design performance, promoting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to deliver innovative solutions, optimise delivery capability and maintain a competitive market position.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience delivering High Voltage (HV) electrical systems, including Protection & Control solutions.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex engineering projects and teams.
- Proven background within the UK Transmission & Distribution industry.
- Engineering degree (or equivalent industry experience).
- A degree in Engineering (or a related subject) or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations, current Health and Safety legislation and risk management processes.
