Project Management Opportunities – Transport & Infrastructure Sector

Leeds / Yorkshire / North

Exciting roles at Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager level

Build your career. Shape our growth. Deliver work that matters.

This is more than your standard project management opportunity. It’s a chance to work alongside talented people, take on exciting challenges and develop your career within a business that’s growing and investing in its future.

CPC is expanding its Transport & Infrastructure presence across Leeds, West Yorkshire and the wider North, creating opportunities for ambitious Project Management professionals who want to be part of that growth and help shape what comes next.

We're recruiting at Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager level. Whether you're building your experience, ready to lead larger and more complex commissions, or looking for a senior role where you can shape clients and teams, there could be a place for you here.

You'll work across some of the region's most significant infrastructure programmes - highways, rail, transportation, local authority infrastructure and major capital schemes - with major clients, from early development right through to delivery and completion.

But it's not just the breadth of projects that sets this apart. You'll be joining a growing, people-focused business where talented people are given real responsibility early, backed by leaders who are genuinely invested in helping them succeed.

What could you be doing?

  • Working as part of our growing Yorkshire team, you'll also support projects across the wider North region.
  • Depending on your experience, you could be:
    • Leading or supporting complex infrastructure projects and programmes.
    • Working directly with clients, delivery partners, consultants and contractors.
    • Taking ownership of programme, cost, risk, quality, governance and reporting.
    • Working within integrated client teams and multidisciplinary environments.
    • Supporting procurement, approvals and contract management, including NEC environments.
    • Building strong, long-term client relationships.
    • Helping grow our Transport & Infrastructure capability across the North.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

At Senior Project Manager level, you'll take greater ownership of complex commissions, client relationships and teams, while helping to develop others.

Experience we are looking for

We're interested in people who know how to deliver successful outcomes in complex project environments.

Your project management background will be derived from transport, highways, rail, local authorities, the public sector, infrastructure, or major capital programmes. You may already have strong NEC or project controls experience or have built your career through broader programme and project delivery roles.

Technical capability is important, but so is how you work. We're looking for people who are collaborative, proactive and commercially aware, who communicate effectively, build trusted relationships, and take pride in delivering excellent results. For our more senior positions, we'll also be looking for experience leading complex commissions, developing client relationships, supporting the growth of others, and contributing to business development.
