About the Role

Affinity Water is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major civil engineering capital projects that support sustainable, high-quality water services for our customers and communities. Working within our Asset Strategy and Capital Delivery team, you will manage projects from concept through to completion, helping improve asset performance, strengthen network resilience, and deliver environmental and customer benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of capital projects, typically valued between £1m and £20m.
  • Manage projects through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Control project scope, programme, budget, risk and quality.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • Manage NEC4 contracts and support procurement activities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental and governance requirements.

About You

Essential:

  • Degree, professional qualification, or equivalent experience in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing civil engineering capital projects.
  • Experience administering NEC4 contracts.
  • Strong project controls, financial management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
