Salary: £50,000 – £56,000 (depending on experience)

Location & Working
Dynamic (hybrid) working based in Stevenage or Bristol. Expect 2–3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.

Security Clearance
British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks.

The Opportunity
Join us as a Senior Project Manager with a focus on delivering innovative, compelling, and deliverable business-winning propositions. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across Sales & Business Development, Programmes, Technical, and Finance teams. Beyond ensuring excellence in individual bids, this role plays a critical part in shaping long-term product business cases, product route maps, and product investment plans.

What you will be working on:

What We Are Looking For From You

  • The ability to form innovative solutions to challenging problems within short timescales.
  • Excellent judgment and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • A strong understanding of key bidding considerations across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, contract acquisition, and business delivery.
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills.
  • Ideally, knowledge of the defence sector.
  • The ability to problem-solve issues in real-time within an ambiguous environment.
  • Direct experience either managing or writing bids of a technical nature, preferably within the context of engineering development work.

Key Activity Strands:

  • Optimising a portfolio of concurrent and future bidding activities.
  • Delivering Product Business Cases to maximise the probability of success for bidding campaigns.
  • Contributing to the Product Line strategy through road-mapping and investment strategy.
  • Championing business-winning best practices and approaches.
  • Responding to changing customer requirements.
