The Role
We are seeking a Project Team Coordinator at our Alnwick site to lead the planning and execution of customer and internal projects. This strategic role ensures:
- On-time delivery of project milestones
- Budget adherence and operational efficiency
- High-quality standards aligned with regulatory and commercial goals
- Strong client and internal team collaboration
- Commercial performance improvement through structured project management
The ideal candidate will develop robust relationships, anticipate challenges, and drive continuous improvement across the project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Facilitate project kick-offs and coordinate regular stakeholder meetings
- Maintain accurate project documentation (including versions, revisions, and records)
- Act as the primary client liaison, ensuring alignment on objectives and timelines

Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Monitor budgets and track time, cost, and effort discrepancies
- Implement change control processes for scope adjustments
- Ensure adherence to governance procedures and contractual obligations
- Create and update dashboards and reports for real-time insights
- Support audits and regulatory compliance efforts
Risk Management &Problem-Solving
- Identify, log, and mitigate risks and issues through structured registers
- Proactively communicate delays or blockers, escalating as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and maintain momentum
Knowledge Sharing & Improvement
- Standardise lessons learned and best practices across projects
- Assist with process optimisation to enhance efficiency
- Contribute to project profitability through cost control
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven project management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments
- Expertise in PSA systems and Gantt chart tools for scheduling
- Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting and cost tracking
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple high-impact projects with tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
