Project Manager – Business Applications
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Core Business Systems team and lead change across the applications that underpin how our organisation operates.
You'll work across a portfolio of business application change spanning platforms including Salesforce, NetSuite, Boomi, OpenAir and ServiceNow, taking projects from initial sizing and planning through delivery, go-live and handover.
This isn't about managing one enormous transformation programme. You'll typically have a pipeline of different-sized initiatives moving at the same time — from relatively contained application changes through to more complex work spanning several interconnected platforms.
A key part of the role will be bringing structure and forward planning to that pipeline: understanding what's coming, sizing the work with our Business Analyst and Solution Leads, forecasting resource and contractor requirements, and ensuring there's a realistic flow of work ready for delivery.
What You Will Do
- Own a portfolio of concurrent business application projects from initiation through to go-live and handover.
- Work with Solution Leads, architects and our Business Analyst to understand new demand, establish scope and produce initial project estimates.
- Build and maintain clear project plans, budgets, RAID logs and delivery governance.
- Look ahead across the project pipeline and plan contractor and delivery capacity before demand becomes urgent.
- Coordinate change across interconnected applications, understanding dependencies and ensuring activity is sequenced appropriately.
- Manage contractor and partner resources, including capacity, costs and extensions.
- Work closely with operational and support teams to ensure project delivery doesn't conflict with existing sprint and BAU commitments.
- Lead stakeholder communication and provide clear reporting on delivery, risks, dependencies and decisions required.
- Support the continued development of our project delivery processes and governance as the function matures.
- Manage projects through testing, release, go-live and hypercare, ensuring a clean transition into ongoing support.

- You'll be an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting for direction.
- We're particularly interested in people who have delivered change across enterprise applications, ERP or CRM environments. You don't need to be a Salesforce, NetSuite or ServiceNow specialist, but you should understand how systems projects move through requirements, solution design, development, testing and release.
- You'll ideally bring:
- Proven experience independently owning and delivering multiple projects.
- Experience delivering ERP, CRM or other enterprise/business application change.
- An understanding of application development and delivery lifecycles.
- Experience managing several pieces of work with competing priorities and dependencies.
- Strong project governance, planning, budgeting, risk and stakeholder-management capability.
- Experience working with technical teams including architects, developers and Business Analysts.
- Confidence managing external partners, contractors or project resources.
- A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent would be beneficial.
- The ability to operate effectively in an environment where processes are still evolving and where you'll be expected to take initiative.
