Façade Project Manager
Location: Smeeth, Kent (Hybrid: minimum 2 days office-based, with remaining days spent on-site as required)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive / To be discussed (dependent on experience) + Benefits Package
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Façade Project Manager to oversee high-quality external envelope packages from inception through to handover. This hybrid role balances strategic operational planning at our main headquarters in Smeeth with active, hands-on site management.
You will take full ownership of façade delivery, managing technical submittals, main contractor interfaces, and installation sequencing to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and strictly within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Lead day-to-day operations for external envelope packages, including curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing systems, and architectural metalwork.
- Hybrid Operations: Work out of our Smeeth office for at least 2 days per week to manage pre-construction, technical sign-offs, procurement tracking, and logistics planning. Spend the remaining days visiting live sites to coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress.
- Technical Compliance: Oversee shop drawings, technical submittals, sample testing regimes, and ensure strict alignment with the latest UK Building Regulations and Fire Safety standards.
- Commercial & Program Management: Track project variations, control costs, manage short-term programming, and chair regular progress meetings detailing onsite performance against agreed milestones.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce rigorous Health & Safety standards, review RAMS, and manage the snagging and handover processes.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated project management experience within the UK façade or structural glazing sector.
- Certifications: Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid qualifications.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern cladding systems, curtain walling, GRC, and building envelope details.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of handling main contractors, architects, and specialist installers.
- Logistics: Full UK driving licence to travel efficiently between the Smeeth office and our various project locations
