About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join an established engineering and manufacturing organisation, responsible for managing the successful delivery of major projects across time, cost, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, and resources.
- Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures and master schedules.
- Monitor project performance, identify variances, and implement recovery plans where required.
- Manage subcontractor planning and performance.
- Identify and manage project risks and critical path activities.
- Lead project planning and progress meetings with key stakeholders.
- Provide clear project updates, highlighting achievements, risks, and required actions.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, commercial, and supplier teams.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong project planning and scheduling experience.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- A proactive, tenacious "can-do" attitude and strong stakeholder management skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.

Desirable:
- Engineering degree
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification
- SAP experience
- Facilities project experience
- Military/defence project experience
- German language skills
