Project Manager – Windows 11 Migration & Laptop Refresh

£500 - £550 PD | Inside IR35 | 6 Month Contract | Hybrid (London – 3 days onsite) | ASAP Start

Our trusted public sector partner is delivering a large-scale Windows 11 migration and laptop refresh programme and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of an in-flight project and drive successful delivery through to completion.

You will manage the rollout, working closely with technical teams, suppliers, and implementation partners responsible for delivering Microsoft Intune configuration, application readiness, and device deployment activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing Windows migration, endpoint transformation, or workplace technology projects, ideally within local government or complex public sector environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of an existing Windows 11 migration and laptop refresh programme, driving delivery through to completion.
  • Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery timelines. Coordinate internal technical teams, suppliers, and third-party implementation partners.
  • Work closely with endpoint, infrastructure, application, and service teams to ensure successful migration delivery.
  • Monitor rollout progress, reporting on delivery milestones, risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Manage project governance activities including RAID management, reporting, stakeholder updates, and project meetings.
  • Manage stakeholder communications across technical teams, business users, suppliers, and senior leadership.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and operational requirements.
  • Identify and escalate delivery risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are implemented.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
