The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established engineering services business delivering complex overhaul, maintenance and upgrade projects for critical industrial equipment across global markets.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of high-value engineering projects from order handover through to final completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded project professional who enjoys working within a technical environment and managing multiple stakeholders across international projects.
The Role
- Managing the full project lifecycle from contract award through to completion.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution.
- Coordinating internal engineering, procurement, operations and service teams.
- Monitoring project schedules, budgets, risks and resource requirements.
- Managing project documentation, reporting and customer communications.
- Supporting commercial discussions including variations and contract changes.
- Attending project review meetings both in the UK and internationally.
- Building strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with company quality, safety and project governance procedures.

Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing high-value engineering projects.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within manufacturing, industrial engineering, rotating equipment, energy, process, power generation, oil & gas, aerospace or related technical sectors.
- Demonstrate experience delivering high-value, bespoke engineering projects.
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and schedules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
