Project Manager

We are seeking an energetic, adaptable Project Manager to lead end-to-end client implementations and rollouts.

In a fast-growing scale-up, project management isn't just about updating spreadsheets—it's about driving delivery pace, mitigating real-world risks, aligning cross-functional teams, and making sure our technology delivers immediate, tangible value in live operational environments.

At Tended, we create first-of-a-kind safety systems that use some of the most advanced technologies on the market to transform rail worker safety. Our flagship geofencing solution has been named as one of TIME’s Best Inventions and has made it onto the Digital Leaders 100 list for Geospatial Initiative of the Year.

We’re a venture-backed scale-up with an incredible team and work alongside industry-leading organisations in the rail sector to innovate and bring rail workers home safe every day. Tended is growing quickly and we're now recruiting for Project Managers to support our technology deployments on client sites around the UK.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Governance: Build and maintain detailed project plans, critical path timelines, and resource schedules using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Risk & Scope Management: Continuously track risks, manage dependencies, resolve delivery blockers, and maintain scope control across parallel client deployments.
  • On-the-Ground Rollouts: Take charge of live implementations. You're comfortable being on-site in operational settings (such as depots, hubs, or shift-based operations) to support deployments—including occasional weekend, bank holiday, or overnight shifts when rollouts go live.
  • Training & User Adoption: Develop and deliver training programs tailored to different end-user cohorts—from tech-savvy site leaders to frontline operational workers—ensuring capability and long-term retention.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Take total ownership of project issues. When deployment roadblocks appear, you take the initiative to find creative, pragmatic solutions to keep projects moving forward.
  • Client Reporting & Value Insights: Measure deployment progress and operational outcomes. Write clear, structured reports that demonstrate project performance, ROI, and key insights to client stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
