Sphere Solutions are working with a well-established regional contractor to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £6m+ listed building conversion in Plymouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business on a flagship project starting within the next few months and with a guaranteed programme of just under 2 years, alongside a strong pipeline of future work across the South West.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of a £6m+ listed building conversion.
  • Leading site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Overseeing project programmes, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Managing project documentation, reporting, and contractual processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, security, and quality requirements.
  • Maintaining strong communication with stakeholders throughout the project.

About You

  • Proven experience delivering construction projects as a Project Manager.
  • Experience working on listed buildings, heritage refurbishments, or complex refurbishment schemes.
  • Previous experience working within MOD, defence, or secure environments is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working within process-driven environments with extensive client reporting and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Able to obtain the necessary security clearance (clean background required).
