Retail Project Manager

As one of the UK's leading investors and operators of shopping centres and out of town retail, our client has an extremely accomplished team of Project Managers who between them work very closely with the Asset Managers to deliver a variety of construction based projects for both asset enhancement and as part of tenant support services. Due to growth, there is a need for a talented Project Manager to join and lead across a stimulating programme of projects.

The Role

  • A full range of project management responsibilities working on new builds and cut and carve projects
  • Supporting tenants across multiple fit-out projects
  • Managing projects with values from £100k to £4m across the UK
  • Managing, reviewing, and agreeing legal project documentation
  • Appointing and leading external consultants and project teams
  • Working with external QS to agree final accounts
  • Detailed project monitoring and reporting to the Construction Director

Your Experience

  • Leading multiple cut and carve projects - ideally across retail environments - is essential
  • Management of large fit-out projects would also be valued
  • Management of construction projects through RIBA stages 1-6
  • Detailed exposure to working under JCT contracts
  • Understand the Agreement for Lease process
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent all-round communication skills and a proven track record in the preparation and delivery of detailed project reporting documents
