Are you passionate about delivering new affordable homes and creating thriving communities across Wales? then we would like to hear from you

Make a difference every day as a Project Manager at Hafod. This is a permanent 36 hrs full-time hybrid working position with the option to work 9 days every fortnight.

We're looking for a Project Manager (New Business) to join our Development team and help deliver Hafod's ambitious programme of 150 new affordable homes each year. Working alongside the Development Manager and Director of Development, you'll play a key role in identifying, assessing, and progressing new housing opportunities from initial concept through feasibility, planning, and approval stages.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines project management, partnership working, and commercial awareness.

  • You'll work closely with local authorities, developers, consultants, landowners, and internal teams to turn opportunities into high-quality housing solutions that make a lasting difference to people's lives.
  • You'll have the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of affordable housing projects, build strong partnerships, and contribute directly to Hafod's long-term growth ambitions and commitment to providing homes people are proud to live in.
  • This role involves travelling independently across our sites and development opportunities as part of day-to-day duties.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
