Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid Project Manager role based in Newmarket, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Project Manager will oversee commercial glazing refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The role involves conducting site inspections, resolving issues related to access, glazing defects, logistics, and scheduling, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to provide clear communication, manage expectations, and uphold GLRE’s environmental and ESG commitments throughout each project.
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills, including experience in planning, executing, and closing projects within commercial construction or glazing environments.
- Experience as an Expeditor, with proven expediting skills to manage material and equipment deliveries and ensure timely availability of resources.
- Inspection experience, including conducting site visits, quality checks, and compliance assessments in line with safety and industry standards.
- Logistics management skills, including coordinating site access, transportation, and scheduling of teams and materials across multiple projects.
- Relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and basic MS Office tools for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and sustainable construction practices; experience in ESG-focused environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting, balancing on-site presence in Newmarket with effective remote coordination.
