Note: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship and we can only consider applicants with existing right to work in the UK.

This vacancy is only available for applications from existing Internal Plymouth City Council employees and Agency Workers who are in an active placement and have 12 weeks continuous service. Applications submitted by External candidates who do not meet this criteria will not be considered and will be rejected.

We're looking for an organised and proactive Project Officer to support the delivery of the Crisis Resilience Fund, working closely with the Strategic Programme Lead and a wide range of partners across the city.

It is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in programme delivery, performance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, financial administration and governance within a high-profile programme that aims to improve outcomes for Plymouth communities impacted by the cost of living crisis.

We're looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills, experience of working in a project or partnership environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

We are a flexible employer and provide a variety of working arrangements tailored to the needs of each role.

This is a fixed term post until the end of March 2029 and will sit in the wider, supportive Community Empowerment team based in Public Health.
